An investigation is underway after a Seattle church was vandalized and tagged with swastikas and racist messages including telling members to “go back” to Africa. The vandals broke into the church, but it’s unclear whether anything had been stolen. “A lot of us don’t understand why our church would be targeted," said Kiara Porter, the director of social concern at Curry Temple CME Church in Seattle’s Central District. The Seattle Police Department is looking into the incident, Porter added, and believe the vandalism occurred at some point over the weekend.
