The parents of a Pennsylvania woman who was captured by the Afghan Taliban in 2012 say she is still alive and has given birth to two boys. Caitlan Coleman and her husband, Joshua Boyle, were taken by Taliban fighters while they were in Afghanistan. Coleman’s parents made an emotional video request, at the end of Ramadan, for their daughter’s captors to show mercy and to let the family return home. Jim and Lyn Coleman told Circa News they’ve received a letter from their daughter telling them about the births in captivity. “I’m sure that you who are holding my daughter probably are feeling the same way about your families, and I think we have a bond there where we are no different in that respect,” Jim Coleman said in the video. “So once again, I would plead again, search your souls and how you would feel about your family in this situation and please be kind and merciful.”
