Ohio Gov. John Kasich launched his presidential campaign Tuesday, promising to take “the lessons of the heartland and straighten out Washington, D.C.” Kasich, a Republican, invoked Jesus Christ and Ronald Reagan in his speech from Ohio State University, telling the audience, “The light of a city on a hill cannot be hidden.
