Royals, they’re just like us! Like most families, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have to make tough decisions about how to split their time between both sides during the holiday season. Unlike most of us, William had to get Queen Elizabeth’s permission to buck Buckingham tradition and spend Christmas in Bucklebury with the Middleton’s. The Queen was cool about it, though. After all, Kate has had a rough couple of weeks, as extreme morning sickness has soured the start of her first pregnancy. And Wills is close with the in-laws, so it’s a win-win for everybody. Bring on the egg-nog.
