Deep in mountainous western Oregon, students are paying $42,000 a year to attend an unaccredited high school akin to Harry Potter’s alma mater. Built by Scientologists, Delphian School espouses the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard, punishes students for incorrectly defining such words as “the” and exhibiting PDA, and rewards those who tell on others. Several graduates of the school are now revealing what goes on inside Delphian’s walls and what happens to students once they leave.
