Study: Fox News Viewers Most Misinformed

This is one ranking Fox News doesn't want to top. Viewers of the top-rated cable news channel are the most ill-informed news consumers out there, according to the University of Maryland. The study, called "Misinformation and the 2010 Election," found that despite political party, the majority of Fox News viewers erroneously believed statements such as, "Most economists have estimated the health-care law will worsen the deficit," and "Most scientists do not agree that climate change is occurring." Other misinformed viewers watch MSNBC and PBS and listen to NPR. The study shows that those viewers believed "that it was proved that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was spending money raised from foreign sources to support Republican candidates."
