The short do that’s taken fans by storm took four hours to complete, Beyoncé’s colorist says. Rita Hazan said that after the pixie style was cut, she dyed the pop star’s hair with an Old Hollywood vibe in mind. “I think it is sexy, strong, a statement, empowering,” Hazan says. “She always had beautiful, gorgeous tons of hair, and for her to strip down and reveal herself this way is a very powerful moment.”
