Last year the Grammys were a bust. Why tune in this time around? Perhaps the possibility of seeing a pregnant M.I.A. perform on stage—on her due date? Or the potential hilarity of witnessing the über-serious Coldplay be served with plagiarism papers on the red carpet? Also of note are the standard shameless ratings-grabbers of the Aerosmith/Run DMC variety: Stevie Wonder and the Jonas Brothers will sing a number together. The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl will collaborate with Paul McCartney. Miley Cyrus will team up with fellow teen sensation Taylor Swift. And the “Rap Pack,” Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye West, and Lil Wayne, will pay homage to Sinatra and Martin’s troupe. It all goes down tomorrow night.
