Chocolate sprinkles, rainbow sprinkles, cocaine... there are so many choices for sort-serve toppings these days. Kenneth Leiton, a Mister Softee vendor on New York's Long Island, was arrested for using an ice-cream truck to make deliveries of cocaine and marijuana this week. Undercover police officers who had been conducting surveillance on an unrelated case said they witnesses Mr. Leiton's truck pull up to a neighborhood home, where Mr. Leiton completed a drug deal, after which he apparently returned to his truck and turned on the ubiquitous summertime jingle that is the calling card of Mister Softee. When the police officers pulled the truck over, they found several bags of cocaine and marijuana inside. Leiton was charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
