Faisal Shahzad, the failed Times Square bomber, has said that he planned a second, follow-up attack on Times Square, if he hadn't been arrested. According to officials, he has also bragged that he wanted to murder at least 40 people in his first attack. Prosecutors write in court papers just released, "According to Shahzad, he wanted to select the busiest time for pedestrian traffic in Times Square because pedestrians walking on the streets would be easier to kill and injure than people driving in cars." Government lawyers are asking that Shahzad spend life in prison for his foiled plot. On Thursday, officials also released a chilling video, showing what would have happened in Times Square had Shahzad succeeded.
