A bizarre, rare combination of rain, extreme winds, and snow is making its way east from the Midwest. It has been compared to a Category 3 hurricane and caused damage to homes, cars, and property as it passed over 31 states. Meteorologists say the storm measures 2,000 miles wide and possibly caused 24 tornadoes. States from Montana to Ohio are reporting a variety of severe weather from 10 inches of snow to “frozen hurricanes.”
