Hope you weren’t too excited about cloud-based iTunes: The “exciting” announcement that Apple teased all day Monday was a dud. All the company had to say was that The Beatles’ music will now be available on iTunes. Starting Tuesday, 13 remastered Beatles studio albums will be available for purchase. The agreement was reached with The Beatles’ label, EMI. Songs will be $1.29 each; albums will be $12.99; and double albums will be $19.99.
