After strange messages appeared on the Twitter feeds of Gawker and Lifehacker on Saturday, the "responsible party" told the The Next Web that it was not affiliated with Anonymous, the group responsible for hacking major corporate sites in defense of WikiLeaks. The mysterious party claims to have compromised all of Gawker Media's email accounts and passwords. Gawker has deleted the stray tweets from its feeds, but is yet to make a statement about the rumored intrusion.
