Investigators have identified ground zero of the Secret Service scandal: a Colombian prostitute who got angry when two agents refused to pay her requested $40–$60 fee. All 11 men implicated in the scandal allegedly brought women back to their hotel rooms in Cartagena while on a trip with President Obama, and officials are still investigating whether there were other prostitutes involved. In more trouble for the agents, a report in the New York Post on Wednesday alleges that a staffer in the hotel found “a line of white powder, I believed to be cocaine.”
