Huntsman Backs Communist Comment

Jon Huntsman insists Monday that he was simply “waxing philosphical” when he compared the Republican party with the Chinese Communist Party. Sunday, the former Utah governor and U.S. ambassador to China said that the GOP disinviting him to a Florida fundraiser after he spoke about a third party was “what they do in China on party matters if you talk off script.” Today Huntsman criticized the blogosphere for blowing his words out of proportion but still maintained that the GOP excluding him for going “off script” was a communist-style move. “We shouldn’t be doing that here. We should be accommodating all voices,” he said.
