Michelle Duggar Records Memorial Message for Miscarried Baby

Also uses message to justify large family.

Michelle Duggar has released an audio letter to her miscarried baby that she posted on her family’s website. In the memorial message, Duggar says “I look forward to meeting you one day,” and “you will not be forgotten.” Duggar, who has 19 children and is star of the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, had a miscarriage earlier this month, and the family later held a memorial service and announced they would name the fetus Jubliee Shalom. Duggar also uses the message to justify her large family, saying “We do not believe that babies are a bother, a headache, a financial drain or a career interrupter … You were not loved any less because you were Baby No. 21.” The family was criticized after the memorial service when they chose to release photos of the miscarried fetus.
