Palestine Accuses Tony Blair of 'Bias'

Looks like Tony Blair’s job as Mideast peace envoy could be on the line: Palestinian officials have declared Blair persona non grata in their state because of his “bias” toward Israel. Palestine has been skeptical of Blair ever since he was appointed Middle East peace envoy the day after leaving Downing Street in June 2007. But officials have recently expressed particularly harsh anti-Blair sentiments, convinced that he solicited other European nations to vote against a Palestinian bid for statehood at the U.N. assembly last week. "There is no one within the Palestinian leadership that supports or likes or trusts Tony Blair," one official told The Telegraph, adding that they hope to minimize his role.
