Many were probably surprised to see notoriously flashy rapper Kanye West show up on Wall Street Monday to demonstrate support for the protesters entering their fourth week rallying against corporate greed. West’s visit to Zuccotti Park was a quick one, as the crowd of fans that mobbed him proved that his presence simply transferred attention away from the demonstration. The rapper made a show of his solidarity with the 99 percent by sporting a hefty gold chain and flashing his everyman’s grill.
