Police have ordered all of the shops in Paris’s famed Jewish neighborhood to close, even though they are far from both of the city’s developing hostage situations. The Rosiers street in the Marais neighborhood, located about a kilometer away from the Charlie Hebdo offices, is typically crowded with tourists. At least five people are being held hostage in a kosher grocery store in another part of the city by the man suspected of killing a policewoman Thursday.
