The Occupy Wall Street protesters are back in their park after a brief celebratory march. A large crowd gathered in the park before dawn—activists say 3,000, the New York Times says more than a thousand—in anticipation of a confrontation with police and the park's owners, who demanded they leave the park so it could be cleaned. But with less than an hour to go before their eviction, the mayor's office announced that the cleanup would be postponed. Hundreds of marchers then left the park, but were intercepted by police. At least 14 people have been arrested. Meanwhile organizers are calling for an international day of occupation tomorrow, with rallies planned for London, Frankfurt, Washington, and elsewhere. Last night ten Occupy protesters were arrested in Seattle, and in Denver police arrested at least 23 people camped out in front of the capitol.
