A zoo-keeper died on Monday in a “freak accident” after a tiger entered an enclosure at the Hamerton Zoo Park in Cambridgeshire, England. “Sadly the female zoo keeper died at the scene,” local police said. The death “is not believed to be suspicious.” An investigation is ongoing, and the park closed for the rest of the day. In a statement, the park said, “All our thoughts and sympathies are with our colleagues, friends and families at this dreadful time.”
